Clients that self harm?
Just joined this group to get an opinion, I l, F36, just had a massage for the first time in awhile, in the past year I've struggled with cptsd & resorted to self harm with new scars on my wrists. I couldn't help but be uncomfortable & anxious when it came to massaging my arms. Just curious what goes through a professional massage therapist's head when they come across something like that? These are just fresh scars, not open wounds or anything.
