I've been doing some research for my first guitar build and I was wondering if there was any point into wiring 2 p90s to a series/ parallel switch or a push pull knob, especially since the p90s i'm thinking about using are reverse wound revers polarity, so in a way the are already hum cancelling

Im going to start working on my first guitar build but i'm unsure on what kind of a finish to go for after repainting a guitar. The guitar is a harley benton TE-20HH, and I like the finish it came with but it is a real fingerprint magnet. I was wondering if there was a similar finish that wont be so easily affected. Also I was wondering for what kind of finish to go for on the neck for a more satin flat look and a nice glide across the fretboard
