Slower HCG Rise, have seen heartbeat at 8 weeks
Hello, I am 8 weeks and 1 day today and have been so stressed out during this pregnancy.
I went in for an ultrasound at 5 weeks and 6 days, there was a heartbeat of 112 and everything looks great with HCG and Progesterone.
I spotted very very slightly at 7.5 weeks, but they called in an HCG test to check. The first one came back at 40,000. They instructed me to test again 24 hours later, it was 42,000. The doctor is concerned with this rise.
I went in to an independent ultrasound clinic at 8 weeks, and saw the baby transabdominally, the yolk sac and the baby had a heartbeat of 178.
I am still so worried about my doctors concern for my HCG rising slowly…. he will be seeing me next week. I am so worried about an impending MC. I have seen women saying that happened when HCG rose slowly. Any hopeful thoughts? Thank you.
