I’m am trying to decide between starting my Camino Frances on either Aug 25th or Sept 16th from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Will there really be that much difference in numbers walking then and temperatures? Will the difference of 3 weeks really make that much difference re having a Camino which is too hot to walk in after 1pm or a Camino with cooler nights and a much higher possibility of rainy days? I know weather can’t be accurately predicted but I just can’t decide which start date would be a better bet for having a good experience.
