I wish I had more interest in AAA single player games
I currently own a ps5 and switch 2. I've previously owned a pc which I used for gaming at times, and I've also had an xsx with gpu.
The last game I completed was tlou remastered on PS4. I came close to finishing uncharted 4 until I sold my PS4 for an Xbox one.
I've tried so many games from AAA to indie since then. Either I lose interest, get frustrated with difficulty, or have to restart because of a platform change.
I'm only hyped for GTA 6. Beyond that, I'd consider trying Fable as I used to play it on Xbox 360, and 007 First Light if it gets really good reviews.
Other than that, 99% of my gaming is online only. I know it's fine as a preference, but I miss the joy I'd get from single player games as a child.
I've considered trying rdr2, metro exodus and cyberpunk 2077 again, but it would take me a couple of hours on each game to get to where I was on pc, as I'd be playing on ps5 now. I'd imagine they'd look beautiful on my oled TV too.
I envy fellow adult gamers who still have the mental energy/interest to get through these games.
