Willem Dafoe as John C Calhoun
The resemblance is pretty striking!! … not that we need a movie on John C Calhoun, though

I found out a friend of mine is friends with a player on the Vikings! I think it’s neat, so I guess I’m a Vikings fan now?! The Raiders are my personal fav team, but this is the closest I have to any personal investment in a team, so the Vikings might just become my number 2!
At any rate, I don’t want to share the player per idk if it’s my place to say, but they are a defensive lineman. What is the state of the D Line? I know the Vikings drafted Caleb Banks with their first round draft pick, so I imagine it’s trending in the right direction. Can some Vikings fans fill me in?
Hi everyone! I’m 33m and from California. I married my wife 28f who is from Zimbabwe. I haven’t been to Zim yet, but am learning Shona and the bits of Zimbabwean culture through marriage.
I’d like to learn more of the history of Zimbabwe and was hoping for some book recommendations! My wife isn’t much of a history reader. What books should I read to learn more about the history of Zimbabwe?
The boss at my radio stations went to a convention last week where they talked about AI in Radio (this was the IDIB or International Broadcaster's Idea Bank, for whatever that's worth).
One of the other stations owners talked about a program called RoboDJ from Radio DJ Dude and how they were able to automate with AI, entire voice track duties/shifts. My boss tasked me to look into the website/program and the overall vibe I got was that it's a shiny veneer but pretty empty at it's core (in terms of content the AI provides).
I'm not crazy about AI replacing human voice talent, admittedly. But I may be biased. In terms of the legitimacy of the program, has anyone heard or have thoughts on this RoboDJ program or about the Radio DJ Dude brand, in general?
It looks like there’s a tropical festival happening tomorrow (Saturday) in Omaha. Is anyone going?
If so, I’d love to know how it goes! I lived in Nebraska for 10 years and have moved to California. My mom and I sew Hawaiian shirts by hand. This type of event sounds right up our alley! In the case this festival happens next year, I’d love to hear what people think! The idea of going back to NE as a vendor sounds really appealing, but it would be such a huge commitment to travel across the country as a vendor. I want to hear if it is well attended this year!
