Webull vs Robinhood — long-term investor
I need some opinions from people who have actually used both platforms long term.
I’ve been using Webull for about 4–5 years now and honestly I really like it. I’ve built a pretty solid-sized account there and the platform helped me learn a lot about trading and market structure. The charts, technical analysis tools, and overall data/features are great. I also mess around with options every now and then, so the extra tools have been nice.
That said, I’m not really a day trader. My plan is to hold most of my positions for 15+ years and continue buying weekly.
I hear a ton about Robinhood and know a lot of people who genuinely like it. I actually already use Robinhood for some crypto purchases and honestly don’t have anything bad to say about the platform. The UI is super clean and easy to use.
Part of me thinks I should just stick with what I know since Webull has worked well for years. But another part of me wonders if Robinhood might be better suited for more long-term investing and simplicity.
For those who’ve used both:
Did you eventually settle on one?
Is there any real advantage to switching?
Would you keep long-term investments on Webull or move them to Robinhood?
Am I overthinking this and should just stay where I’m comfortable?
