I just went to an event and picked up a nearly new Raven Queen for $20 (just missing a purse and original stand but I have plenty of stands), taking her out of the Ziploc and her hair is GROSS, which kinda makes since if she is from roughly the early 2010s as her copyright says 2012.

It's sticky, and frizzy too. So I'm wondering what would be the more optimal way to clean it up, do I need to buy a new specific hair brush or will any of the standard doll brushes do the job just as fine? Will I need to find fabric softener for it too or can I do without? Does the water need to be warm or boiling etc.
