I’m slowly building up my collection of Minnee dolls! I bought the first two from stores (lesser chance of a duplicate), and now I’m going to be buying second hand only because I HATE duplicates and I’d rather wait for a doll I don’t have to pop up on Vinted than buy another in stores and risk a duplicate XD

Hi! I was wondering if there were any Defa Lucy collectors around here and if so, what’s the quality like? I’m thinking of getting one from the new playline set for my birthday and they look gorgeous, but I’ve never had one and I’m not sure about the overall quality. Is it worth it? The collector dolls even have a pretty good price when compared to collector Barbies (I know Mattel’s quality has dropped) but I’d like to know more by someone who collects them.

EDIT: I’m most likely gonna skip, I didn’t mind the blind box concept cause I like all the dolls but I checked the website and only for a dress it’s 70ish € shipping to Italy where I am. I’ll try to find some people who wanna join in to share the cost but it’s unlikely. As far as I know there’s no retailers here.

So after everyone is now hyped up regarding the new Play dolls, did you know that if you are anywhere outside the USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan and Taiwan, Defa Lucy won’t ship the dolls to you? That’s what their shipping policy on their website states, although they falsely advertise that they are doing a “worldwide” release. I want to get a doll so yesterday I went to their website and looked at the shipping policy, and to my surprise it was not “worldwide” at all, contrary to what was announced everywhere. Today the dolls appeared on their website, which again says “ships worldwide”. But when you click to their shipping policy, they actually ship only to the USA, Canada and Mexico, and the dolls appear to be available also in Japan and Taiwan (the “other international regions” they are referring to, see screenshot). So why falsely advertise “ships worldwide”? Besides, the website recognizes the country you are in and changes to your local currency. What’s the point if you can’t buy them? Defa Lucy also sent their dolls to the European influencers for PR to hype them up to the European public, and those European influencers announced the release date and hour including in Europe and other parts of the world, as if we could buy them. Wth with all that false advertisement??

Woke up this morning and decided to check Walmart despite not having ANY luck recently with stocks. Lo and behold the QUEEN was in stock!!! I immediately ordered her for pick up which they changed to delivery due to it still being in the back im assuming? I did get lucky though and found the Jina Fire on clearance for $11!

As a kid I had a few dolls, but I didnt start wanting to collect until I was a teen. Which by then no one would buy me the dolls I wanted because "Why do you need a toy?" 🙄 Now that I'm older I've slowly started to collect dolls I think are pretty.

Regardless, she's here and I think I could cry. 🖤

I’ve been really obsessed with mirrormi lately and I think about them regularly and I’m always picking them up and I’m the kind of person where if I really love something I’ll consume all the media whether that be books, shows, movies, games, music videos, etc. but mirrormi just came out and there’s no show or anything for them😭 there’s playlists for them but those are regular music videos so it doesn’t satisfy me enough. I know I just have to be patient I am just so excited and in love with these dolls I just want to know more about them!!

I’ve been wanting to get into this hobby for a while and finally made the jump! I painted my reptilian oc Lacerta onto a Create-A-Monster MH gorgon. The face sculpt really helped guide me. She did end up with a bit of a thousand yard stare 😩 but I can always repaint her in the future!

I have to say I really like these hair colors on Nefera! They look so familiar to me, like I've seen similar hair on another doll?? Or maybe I'm mistaken lol

I think the final doll we got is awesome, but as usual, this prototype is interesting to me too! I wonder if they would've kept the same makeup colors if they'd gone with this hair? From what I can tell this makeup looks to be exact to the makeup on the final doll.

Hey all! I just got Cleo and Frankie Self Scare line, and apart from the poly hair, I really love the faces. Cleo has cool snakeskin pattern eye makeup, in gold. Her ghoulfriend Frankie Stein is the one who grabs my attention most. I have 3 or 4 other Frankie's but this nude lip, before bedtime look on them is just so good. I almost want another one to possibly reroot but look at that face❤️🔩 so simple but I love it.

Twyla is just everything with her Garden look. She was my first Skulltimate Secrets doll when they came out a couple years ago. The face is stunning.
