You heard that right!!!! For those who don’t know Cold Slither is Zartan and the Dreadnoks’ band from the original GI Joe cartoon. While they never had a crossover officially in the 80s the did have a comic book crossover a few years ago! Not to mention we got a preview of this at SDCC 2025!!

July 23 House of Blues San Diego!!! Part of The Transformers: The Movie Apology Tour!!!! Possibly more shows to come?!

Blaster redecoed in Jem colors. Comes with ko sundor, kp rosana and ko glint. He comes with a mic and a guitar that transforms into a keytar!

So a theories about possible Jem x Transformers.
Theory 1: They do the Misfits van and its name would Silica ( Evil Synergy from the IDW comic.
A triple tie-in with the upcoming TLS Pizzazz release ( TBD) and just Jem in general. The cool part is the van they used for the Stranger Things x Transformers has an ejecting tape feature that turns into a bird soooo.

Theory 2: They do a Synergy console, that transforms into Synergy. The did make a Teletran-1 transformer Which would be kinda of awesome since even Jem fans who may not be huge transformers fans would still want.

These are clearly just theories I have absolutely no information. Just basing it on what molds they already have that could be retooled, since that’s what most of the crossovers have been.

Finally have all 3 ponytail repros from the 90s. Luckily only Solo in the Spotlight were the only shoes to break out of the box ( I know that’s been an issue with the 90s dolls made in Malaysia). I know they aren’t 100% faithful but these fashions are still beautiful! I still can’t decide which is my most favorite. Now onto the Bubble cuts

To me this is absolutely APPALLING!!! 1. I live in a state where they are currently trying to build 21 AI data centers. 2. Under NO circumstances should a company have the ability to use ANYONE’S likeness into perpetuity. 3. Even if they pay voice actors it is a pittance compared to the amount of money the are planning on making. 4. It is morbid to think that they can ai generate the voices of actors that have died, or who left properties for good reasons ( think Casey Kasem). 5. People and their voices are NOT ips. They maybe directly associated with a property, but they are NOT that property. 6. This will DESTROY voice acting, what’s the point of casting anyone for new properties, when all they have to do is use AI to use the voice they want.

Sue Blue is no stranger to Jem fans, being the voice of Stormer and Lindsey Pierce, and Transformers fans, as the voice of Arcee. She has had a very long career working on other iconic shows like the Smurfs, My Little Pony, G.I. Joe, Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School, the Simpson, Tiny Toon Adventures, Duck Tales, TMNT, and the Real Ghostbusters just to name a few.
She also appeared in Friday the 13th: the New Blood as well as various television shows.
She also is a voice/dialogue director helping new voice actors hone their career. Michaela Dietz, the voice of Amethyst in Steven Universe, credits Sue as helping get into voice acting!!

To celebrate Pride month. Today we are going to focus on Bill Sanders (1940-1990), the father of Jem!!

Bill Sanders was one of the original creators of the Jem doll line. Bill along with Barbara and Joe Hyland took their idea for Jem; more then like named "M" at that time, to Hasbro. Hasbro picked up the line, made many changes and the rest is history.

Bill had BFA in Advertising Design and Paining from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, IL. Followed by Creative Writing an Art History at Columbia College, Chicago, IL, where he did his graduate work. Bill remained in Chicago where he won many rewards for his TV Commercial and Print advertising work, including many well-known slogans.

While at Grey North in Chicago, he worked with Barbara Hyland, one of the other creators of Jem. Barbara and her husband Joe invited Bill to help create the concepts that became Jem and the Holograms , so Bill moved to a boathouse on Casey Key, Florida, where he worked out all the details.

Together the three worked out the concept, characters, fashions and other products. The ideas, which Hasbro was about to turn into reality, was a line of 12½ inch fully articulated rockstar dolls with wild hair colors, accompanied by a line of outrageously designed rockstar fashions, and playsets with built-in real musical features.

Made my own Glitter n’ Gold award. The ones that came with all the dolls ( even the og) seemed too small. I also made a copy of Cool Trash magazine, in hopes for all the Misfits!

So i felt that Kimber needed a trim. Her hair is so nice but a little long. And well all I have to say OUTRAGEOUS! Glad I did, it’s totally 80s and very reminiscent of the cartoon! NGL, was very nervous but happy with the results.

Glitter n’ Gold Jem and the Holograms!!!!! Hologram’s outfits are all vintage, excluding Shana’s boa & necklace ( I think it’s a Jemgrrl repos ). Sadly the shoes don’t fit very well lol❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
