One thing that bugs me about the fandoms for She-Ra and, to a lesser extent, Carmen Sandiego is the fans making fun of the older versions of the shows. At best, they're seen as cheesy and at worst people will outright dismiss them.

Jem is one of my fav cartoons, period. It holds up incredibly well. I'd hate to see it be mocked online. (Fans make fun of it enough, but in a very tongue in cheek way. It is an absurd melodrama after all)

What's your favorite Jem song, sung by an individual? Personally, I tend to go for Starlight by Jacqui Benton. It's a fine and touching tune and they produced it as if it is a seventies song which is clever!

I was pretty surprised when I found out that the instrumentals on first year Kimber had a saxophone playing the melody. Is that with all Kimber dolls or is it just a bad 'batch'? Are there people out there that have another doll with the same 'issue'?
