Dress

-fully hand sewn, made of a sock and lace

Purse

-fully hand sewn and assembled , made of ribbon, lace, jump rings, jewelry bits, and a calico critter baby

Jewelry

-jumprings for rings and bracelet

-I assembled her locket belt and stone necklace

Head piece

-lace tied and stuck down with a pin

-3d printed and painted a human scale headband (32% scale)

Legs

-had the white tights in my stash

-ribbon just wrapped and tied around

--added some extra paint to her shoes and garter

Hands

- blushed with pastels

-painted with acrylic

-sealed with gloss varnish

Very Rarity, Twilight, and Applejack 🥰

I started making the brunettes one night and knew I couldn’t wait to make red heads. I also wanted to make a darker blonde. I was hoping to find color notes from others but i haven't found much online so I figured id make a post :)

Full process for those interested in trying:

Materials:

Rit dye, small bit of dish soap, a little salt, boiling water in a pot designated for dying only (cannot ever be used for food), paper towel, a sink that can be stained with dye or won't stain, Minnee doll(s).

Color notes:

Dying night 1)

For the brunettes I started with a small bit of Black slowly adding bits of Dark Brown to get the color desired (black alone may cast a green undertone). I used the most Dark Brown in the ratio for candy Couture as I wanted her to have a lighter brown.

Dying night 2)

For the dark blonde I started with a small splash of Taupe and she was done.

For the three gingers/redheads I then added a good bit of Canyon with a small splash of Tangerine.

Process:

Each doll was dipped in the boiling mix 2-4 times about 5 seconds each time, checking to see if I liked the color between dips. I kept paper towels nearby to dab their faces and blot their hair quick before rinsing them with warm then cold water until the water runs clear. While rinsing if I wanted to keep their hair texture/pattern I scrunched it towards their heads while the water ran. Afterwards I set them to dry on paper towel until their friends were done. Finally I blow dryed them setting them on top of a blow dryer diffuser to keep some volume.

On some of the candy Couture and winter boutique i took acetone and Q-tips to the scalp to get the pink/blue out so it wouldn't peak through the hair.

If your trying to neutralize a color its good to keep what is opposite on the color wheel in mind. I used slightly more saturated bown/orange tones on winter boutique for example.

I plan on redoing/painting over some of their eyebrows to suit their new hair, and maybe changing brunette Candy Couture's lip color.

Not sure if this has been posted on here before..today I learned that some Calico Critter/Sylvanian family clothes can fit the lean MH ghouls.

The Dad tops seem to fit like crop tops and the Mom dresses seem to fit like babydoll shirts. I might start to incorporate some into some of my restyles :)

Tone shift definitely throws me for a loop..

Thought Id share bc I love seeing others hauls/finds. This is only some of what she was selling. I only really collect G3 and the Hissfits and Twyla DND set were at the top of my list for things I wanted 🩷

(total for everything was $140 which I consider to be generous from the seller who was a collector, drove ab 3 hrs total to get them)
