Is it worth preparing for CAT after completing M.Sc. Physics?
I am currently thinking about preparing for CAT, but I am confused about whether it is the right decision for me at this stage. I have completed M.Sc. Physics, and I am around 24.5 years old. My academic profile is 9/9/8, and I am a male fresher with no full-time work experience. I have not written CAT before, and I would consider myself an average student. Since I come from a science background, I am not sure whether my M.Sc. Physics degree will give me an advantage in B-school admissions through academic diversity or profile-based shortlisting. At the same time, I am also worried whether my age and fresher status after postgraduation will be seen negatively during admissions or placements. It would be helpful if people who have prepared for CAT after M.Sc., especially from Physics or other science backgrounds, could share their experiences
