Hi everyone,

I'm trying to apply for a new role at Accenture, but the MyCareer portal keeps telling me that I already have an active application and need to withdraw it before applying to another position.

The problem is:

  • Workday Candidate Home shows "You have no applications."
  • MyCareer says an active application exists.
  • I can start a new application, but it fails during submission with the "Application already exists" error.

So far I have:

The MyZone support team reviewed my ticket and told me they do not have access to the recruitment portal and asked me to contact candidate.queries@accenture.com instead. The ticket was then closed.

Has anyone successfully withdrawn an old application or had a similar profile/application mismatch issue?

How did you get in touch with the correct team, and how long did it take to resolve?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm currently unable to apply for open roles because of this issue.

Accenture MyCareer says I have an active application, but Workday shows no applications. Unable to apply for new roles.

Hi everyone,

I'm facing a strange issue with the Accenture application portal and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

When I try to apply for a new role through the Accenture MyCareer portal, I get the following error:

"Application already exists. At any given point in time, you can only have one Active application."

However, when I log into my Workday Candidate Home account, under "My Applications" it clearly shows:

"You have no applications."

What's confusing is that the system allows me to start the application and fill in some details, but during the later stage of submission it throws the "Application already exists" error.

So far I have:

  • Checked Workday Candidate Home (shows no applications)
  • Contacted candidate support by email
  • Raised a MyZone support ticket under "Profile already exists"
  • Called the helpline, but they said they cannot help with portal issues and asked me to wait for the support team

It's been about a week and I haven't received a resolution yet.

Has anyone faced a similar issue?
Was it caused by a duplicate profile, synchronization issue, or something else?
How long did it take for Accenture to resolve it?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
