Disappointing concert and will not attend again - Daniel Caesar SOS D2

went to the daniel caesar concert today and I’m disappointed af (prolly everyone too)

maybe my expectations were too high, but this actually felt like one of the weakest live performances ive went to.

bro literally left in the middle of a song and missed his cue on one of his best tracks

on top of that, there was a camera guy blocking the view for SO many parts of the show. we paid for seats just to stare at some dude with a rig the whole night

half the time it seemed like he was bored performing and just letting the audience sing entire sections instead of actually singing himself. crowd participation is cool, but not when we’re the ones carrying the concert LOL

the ending felt so quick too. lights immediately turned on, security was rushing everyone out

at least he said goodbye compared to what I heard from day 1 attendees lol.

overall, its just not worth it.

and i know this is probably an unfair comparison because tyler (the creator) is an entirely different kind of performer, but after tyler’s concert we were STILL hyped even after the show ended. dude came back multiple times, kept the energy insane, actually PERFORMED his songs, and made the whole thing feel memorable.

this one was just: bro showed up, vibed for a bit, then dipped.

curious if anyone else had a bad night.

14 y/o me would lose his mind seeing this setup

started with a janky setup made out of two old chairs + laptop stand beside my foldable bed.

and now, this.

23:
current setup in the new house. new table and a chair from Siwoo and Mandaue!

AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
ASRock B550M Pro4
4x8GB Team Group DDR4 3600MHz
ASRock RX 6700 XT Challenger Pro OC 12GB
Samsung SSD 870 EVO Plus 1TB
ASUS TUF 650W Bronze

19:
prolly still my favorite setup honestly 😭 it's also where everything started feeling more serious. more work, more projects, more responsibilities.

Intel Xeon E5-2678 v3
HUANANZHI X99-TF
4x8 Samsung DDR3 1600MHz
GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER OC 6G
Seagate Barracuda 500GB SATA SSD
2x 500GB HDDs from old laptops
500W generic PSU (the pc somehow survived)

17:
my first "real" setup.

countless nights playing league, learning random tech stuff, and figuring out what i actually wanted to do.

forgot the specs but it was a:
Core 2 Duo
2x8GB DDR2
RX 580

was running better than the one i had below

14:
making the most out of what i had.

a hand me down Pentium laptop from my mom which i upgraded the ram from 4GB to 12GB (4+8, had no idea matched sticks mattered back then lmao)

this is where i also changed the HDD to the barracuda mentioned earlier

all that’s left now is to keep working and graduate as soon as possible 🤣

brick by brick.
