Was stuck Gold 3, flipping between Gold 2 and Gold 4, playing Top so went mid and finally got back into Platinum. Mid is so much better imo.
Of just my last 20 games (19 on Yorick, only 2 were Top instead of Mid) I have an 85% W/R. Winning a mid lane is so much more satisfying. It also has more impact on the rest of the team, they actually will play around me more in the early game and I can contribute to objectives easier.
Very proud of my 2v1 at the beginning. I know they probably misplayed a bit, but I feel like I played it almost perfectly.
This is coming from a currently Gold Yorick with a peak of Plat 1. Ranking is purely on laning phase.
Will also say that most of these match ups, I have both won super hard into and lost super hard to, but typically this is how I feel when I have to play into them.
Edit: I'm just now realizing I forgot Camille, mainly because I haven't seen her in a while. But I feel like I would put her in "Should be fine".
I genuinely hate how there's an almost full second delay for Yorick W to come up. So many times I lost out on a kill or couldn't stop someone chasing me, because of the delay allowing them to just walk out of the range. Like why does Yorick even have the delay?
Trundle pillar has more utility with its slow and it only has a 0.25 second cast time. Lasts longer and can't be destroyed.
Anivia W, 0.25 cast time only, can't be destroyed by autos.
Why did they give Yorick such a slow and weak wall?
