I have an old laptop (MSI ge72 6qf). Recently every time I try to use it it freezes a few minutes after starting and all I can do is shut it down with the emergency button. I've tried with an external screen, without launching heavy software, without the PSU, switching the ram sticks but it seems like it's more of a hardware problem. Thermal paste is fine but I've discovered concerning bubbles near the fan between the heat pipes. Am I screwed ? Do I just buy a new one?
