Sewing PU Leather Help

Hey yall! Thanks for everyone who responded to my last post. I ended up taking the leopard print fabric off and just attaching the fur; I feel like it looks better this way!

Anyhow, I found this PU leather belt that I think would look great attached to the top of the fur. Would anyone know how to go about sewing/ attaching that?

Sewing Machine Skipping Stitches?

Yo, so I took the bobbin case out to clean the inside of my sewing machine. When I started sewing again, I noticed my machine kept skipping stitches. I’ve tried every solution I found online to fix this: rethreading, replacing the needle, replacing the bobbin. Nothing seems to be working. Did I permanently screw something up?
