Never done electrical stuff before, so I'm certain this is a dumb question. But what do I do with the naked yellow wire..?

I assume I have to go buy a thing to crimp down on the end of it and connect it to the same spot I put the red wire, but I'm confused as to why they left the yellow wire naked and not the red.

Edit for added context - I have it now where where the lights come on, but they don't go back off. The Z1 website says to connect it to a 12v power source, but how..?

In case anyone else is dumb like me and never got it because you also thought $30/month was a bit much. ​
