Test scheme for my bad moons. Contrast paints are an absolute game changer!
After painting 20 boyz 10 gretchin with traditional methods, and being both disappointed with the results and time taken I decided to bite the bullet and try out contrast paints for the first time.
Got this git done in just under an hour (drying time excluded), and about another 10 minutes for the base. Which, for a slow painter like me, is ridiculously fast!
Whilst there’s some things I can improve - the skin could do with a little more green, the browns blend together at a distance, and I still haven’t found a good way to paint metals- I’m really happy with the overall result!
