Holes in stored clothes

Hi,
I’ve been a long time reader of this sub which allowed me to step up my laundry game (I even joined the Kismai cult 😂) I’ve been making my big sorting and washing as warmer days have come and noticed some strange holes in 2 stored wool pieces.
It’s a big wool coat which has holes on the very bottom part - it is usually stored hanging and without any protection bag or anything although I bought some on Amazon - they look more like the coat has been scraped or something but I don’t use it often maybe a handful of time during winters if I have to step outside and it’s really cold. There also seem to be spots where the fabric seems thinner I circled one in yellow.
The other garment is a wool t-shirt on which I already had to mend a hole and although I have two exact same pieces it’s always the same one that ends up damaged. The t-shirt is stored folded without any bag or anything although protection of any form.

I usually spray some anti-moth type of spray the ones from Clothes doctor and while cleaning the closet I didn’t spotted any bugs or traces of bugs just a little bit of dust.

Are they just dying ? It can’t be wear and tear I really wear them on the rarest occasions. Can it be some sort of bug ? Most importantly is there anything I can do?

Thanks for your help
