Occasionally my algorithm will show me a JW social media post on my IG feed and I often just roll my eyes and scroll by. But yesterday I saw one that said something like, “Don’t worry, Jehovah saw it too.” And it took everything I had not to explode in the comments.

Oh, Jehovah saw the over 1000 cases of child abuse that “his organization” covered up in Australia for over 50 years?! Well I’m sure that’s comforting for the children. Good to know.

Thought I’d make this post for anyone else to share any annoying or infuriating JW social media posts they’ve seen recently, since JW’s seem to be all on the social media train.

I was scrolling through Instagram and came across a reel of a pastor rapping and using the name Jehovah.

I honestly just smirked and was about to scroll by but decided to check the comments and nearly every comment was from a JW that read “WE DON’T CLAIM HIM!”

First, I thought Jehovah’s name was the most important thing and needs to be sanctified? Is this guy not sanctifying Jehovah’s name?

Two, after seeing the reaction I honestly hoped that I would start seeing more ridiculous public displays of people using Jehovah’s name just to muddy the waters a bit. 😆

Lastly, these PIMI JW’s making fun of this rapping pastor and not claiming him and his music are acting like their own religion doesn’t have a music video up RIGHT now on JW.Borg about the POV of an inanimate book cart. 😂 😂
