I’m looking to get into Tamagotchi cellecting.

I'm torn between two directions:

The Classic/Original style : Love the pixelated, retro look.

The Modern Color Screens: They look super interesting and vibrant.

For those who have both: Where is the best place to start?

Also, a quick question about gameplay: how long does it actually take to raise a character to adulthood in the modern ones vs. the originals? I want something that feels rewarding but fits into a daily routine. 90s nostalgia. I’ve been checking Amazon and noticed there are so many options now!
