Hi all! My husband and I are looking into a middle name for a girl that honors my late grandma, but we don’t want to use any of the names directly. We’ve looked at some common/similar names but haven’t found anything we loved.

Her first name was Barbra, and we don’t love the classic, older names.

Her middle name was Jane. My husband’s mom uses thar in situations she doesn’t want to use her actual Russian name, and she cut him off over taking my last name so using anything just Jane is out, still unsure on how similar is too similar.

Her maiden name was Parks, which isn’t name-y enough we’d want to use it straight up.

Any suggestions?
