Is the "Open 10 minutes past close" rule still a thing?

I've worked at my location going on 6 years now and there have been several lapse in this "rule" especially after the Inspire buyout.

My question to other locations with I would assume a much busier area, do you guys have this rule? Is it enforced? Does our new corporate overlord really care about being open an extra ten minutes?

My understanding currently is store hours depend on location, sales etc and I absolutely get that. I'm just wanted to gaugr how everyone else is handling the rule?

If I gotta hang out an extra ten minutes sure, not a problem. I would just prefer to know if this rule is balogny and was canned by Inspire or if we as a franchise still are ordered by Jimmy John himself to stay open.
