Ordered 2 subs, left with 1 and got denied refund for sandwich they couldn’t provide

I am literally so confused. I just ordered via the mobile app and I redeemed points for a free sub AND paid for a 2nd sandwich via my debit card. I get to the store and they tell me they only have 1 piece of bread left and asked me which sandwich I wanted made. I then asked for a refund for the sandwich I PAID FOR and the manager told me that she can’t do that because I used points. I told her that she’s literally making the sandwich I used my points on and she’s unable to provide me the second sandwich so therefore I would like my money back. She told me that she can’t do that and I then confirmed “Okay so you are telling me that since I redeemed points for one sandwich and you can only fulfill half my order I am unable to get my money back for the 2nd sandwich I paid for” and she said “Yes that’s right.”

ummmm 🤨 How does this make sense???

Best jimmy johns sandwich ever?

Okay hear me out. I've been a Jimmy John's guy for years. Pepe, Turkey Tom, Vito — I've done the rounds. But a few weeks ago an employee named Wyatt told me he came up with a custom build and asked if I wanted to try it. I said sure, why not.

It changed my life. Here's the order:

Chicken Bacon Ranch on French bread, GUTTED and TOASTED

- Ex mayo

- No onion

- EZ chicken ranch

- Ex parm

- Cucumber

- EZ oregano

- Ex fried onion

- Ex EX Euro seasoning (added BEFORE toasting — this is critical)

Gutting the bread keeps the bread-to-filling ratio actually edible instead of mostly bread. Toasting it with the extra parm, fried onion, and DOUBLE Euro seasoning baked INTO the bread creates this crispy savory crust situation that I genuinely can't stop thinking about. The cucumber goes on after to add a fresh crunch that cuts through all the richness. Easy on the chicken ranch keeps it from getting sloppy.

I've ordered it four times since. Two different locations. Bulletproof every time.

Shoutout to Wyatt. Man's a sandwich artist in a world of sandwich technicians. If you're reading this, you deserve a raise.

Try it. Report back. You're welcome.

Customers🤦🏻‍♂️

Had a lady stare at the menu for 5 minutes. She then walked up to the register and asked for a chicken chipotle salad. We told her we don’t have that. She then said fine I’ll just look on the app and order. 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

Current DMR?

Hello fellow drivers! With the insane prices of gas these days Im curious what kinda of dmr people are getting around the country. At my current store in CO we get 5% of the order total, the new owner was going to swap to distance from store but decided not to. So what are my fellow drivers getting for DMR, what are your avg gas prices and what state do you work in?

The Anti-Jared

so i eat a lot of jimmy johns, like probably too much, 3 maybe even 4 giant sandwiches a week, depending on the week. i’ve also been wanting to lose some weight for a while now, and over the past few months, i’ve finally dropped around enough weight (around 25lbs) that i even look thinner in the mirror, all while still eating jimmy johns 3-4 times a week. i currently work in anti-financial crime, and the bulk of my work is reporting potential CP/CSAM sales to the government. it struck me today that between eating all these sandwiches, losing weight at the same time, and hopefully preventing the sale of CP/CSAM, I have become the anti-Jared, the legitimate successor to Jared Fogle’s large-pants-based empire. just wanted to share, enjoy your sandwiches my brothers

What would you have done?

We’re in a lunch rush and this lady calls saying she needs her ticket all the way from December 4th so her friends can pay her back. Mind you I didn’t get hired until January so I have 0 clue what shes talking about.! One of my managers handled it but we couldnt find anything. I think it got settled and hopefully she’s satisfied with the fact that we can’t really do anything about it. Im just wondering why call now? Thats a whole 6 months almost

P.S according to a few she called here last week on the same energy

But seriously if theres a way to go all the way back to a year ago and find tickets then let me know please

Rip to my comfort meal

As a former JJ AGM, 2 things:

What the hell is oil & vinegar blend 😭 it is NOT the same.

& stop gutting my bread when I didn't ask for it.

My #12 was wrecked today, I'm the big sad.

Is it sucky everywhere now?

Is it my franchisee or does Jimmy John’s just absolutely suck eggs in general now? This used to be SUCH a fun job to work for, but it’s so corporate now & new things get added to our list of duties with no extra pay seemingly weekly at this point. Communication is in the drain. We’re trying too hard to keep up with competition when our whole thing was supposed to be just gourmet cold cuts. We’re expected to work like robots and be perfect at everything, work unpaid hours, doubles and more & just smile and be grateful for it. Our whole store is on the verge of walking.

I’m really just hoping we aren’t alone. Tell me you’re suffering with me 😭

New scam?

Had a customer come by my store today asking my inshops if they knew anything about the Jimmy club and why it was $25 a month. Anyone know anything about this? I thought it was a scam and told her to call her bank.
