So I recently replaced my old non-inverter aircon of 10 years with an inverter. Compared to my old one, this has one of those ECO modes that can only be used when the AC is set to COOL mode. I did a bit of reading and saw mention of how AUTO mode (as opposed to COOL/DRY) works as well as what EDO mode supposedly does. So my question is does anyone know which is actually more power efficient (or which would be better for my electricity bill), using my AC on AUTO mode or using it on COOL with ECO enabled?

For reference, I typically don't keep my AC on the whole day (like, maybe 4-6 hours on at a time)
