I am a 3rd year cse student. I am going to participate in my first Hackathon and first Technical Hackathon on Aug 22. I have some knowledge in programming languages like c,python and Java. Since,I haven't made any projects yet and this is my first Hackathon I need some guidance from those who have experience in hackathons. I didn't have any project ideas yet.

I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have participated in hackathons before:

- What kind of project ideas do participants usually come up with?

- How ambitious should a project be for a first-time participant?

- What makes a hackathon project stand out?
