TIFU by meeting my girlfriends other personality
My girlfriend, who we'll call "green," has had a horrific past and she's come a long way in recovering. I have an extremely avoidant attachment style and they have an anxious attachment style so they worry I'm going to leave them quite a bit. I triggered this "switch" while we were wrestling. Green was confused and quite pissed, asking where they were, saying they were leaving, asking where their wallet was (they didn't bring it in.) They were acting very out of character and confused so I asked if Green had Multiple personality disorder and they went "So they haven't told you." We'll call Greens other personality "Green 2." Green 2 told me green hadn't told me about them having MPD because they're scared ill leave them. Green 2 told me he had been created after the first time green was raped and kept calling green sweet but "too much of a pussy." Green 2 is blunt, sarcastic, brutally honest, mean and doesnt give a fuck about anyones feelings. Since this incident Green and I have talked on other occasions but this brings on a lot of moral complications.
Issue 1:Green doesn't think of it as cheating at all while Green 2 thinks it's a "loophole" to someone new, green is scared ill get bored of them and green 2 thinks it's a loophole I'm playing.
Issue 2: These are two very different people. They share the same body but THEY DON'T EVEN SHARE THE SAME MUSIC TASTE, how the hell does that work? Green hates my music but Green 2 and I jam. Am I supposed to love the green 2 even though that isnt my girlfriend?
Issue 3:I like talking to green 2, especially when I want to know how green really feels but green 2 says his life sucks, not having his own body because he's still conscious when he's not in control and he has a lot of body dysmorphia because green 2 is a dude but green isnt. Now, I'm not a neuroscientist but green 2 doesn't have his own brain either, he borrows Greens, so my working theory is he only suffers when he's in control, so is his PRESENCE harmful to Green? Not to mention, green 2 really wants to SH and sabotage Greens sobriety.
TL;DR My girlfriend has multiple personality disorder and I have no clue what is right and what's wrong, morally.
