I've inherited this cross that belonged to my great grandmother, who was born in Ireland. It has an engraved pattern on both sides, but one stone is missing. I'm guessing it's a turquoise? Is it possible to find a good colour match to replace it, or should I just leave the hole as part of it's history (I can wear it with that face down, so no one will ever know!)?

Does anyone know anything about the pattern or its history? I can't see a hallmark, so I'm guessing it might not be gold? Any knowledge would be appreciated.
