Only one I’ve ever found.

Each piece is individually hand, cut, and ground, and polished on all sides before being glued back together with a permanent glass epoxy called HXTAL. I only use a water fed tile saw and a diamond grinding wheel to create these.
Acquired this swivel mourning brooch to place my boyfriends hair in, except I cannot get the back off for the life of me
Any idea how I should proceed?
Small pinky sized ring with hieroglyphics. Any idea what it says?
Has anyone seen one like this before? I don’t think it’s all sterling silver, does anyone know what it would be worth?
Does anyone know, what Kind of bangle this is, where it might come from, which marterial it is and how old it is? 🙈
I was in three juwelery/Antique Stores, but no one can Tell me anything about it. Only, that it can be Sterling oder 800 Silver.
Thanks guys! 🙏🍀
We’ve been looking for the perfect vintage engagement ring for a while and finally found it! I’m a history nerd and would love help sleuthing out more information about it.
The store’s owners (very lovely husband and wife duo) said they believe the ring is from the 1880s. It’s a near-flawless diamond and there is a small shield stamp on the inside with the number 14 in it. Anyone with thoughts or ideas on where to find out more, I’d love to hear! Thanks!
Does anyone know anything about this brooch, as in maker and possibly value? Yes, tried Google Lens but nothing looked the same. This may have been purchased at Gump’s in San Francisco in the 60-70s. TYIA
local auction has these listed in a mixed lot. obviously not easy to tell definitively from the one photo, but do the marks/styles look at all familiar to those with experience in collecting or selling old pieces? most curious about the two ‘gold’ rings at the top and the ‘art deco’ one to the right. there’s quite a high bid already, so the assumption is there’s something there. thankful for any insight.
Hi everyone, I’ve had this bracelet for years and trying to figure out the approx date it was made / location. There are no hallmarks anywhere, I’ve looked it up and down and have seen nothing. It’s silver under a gold plating, but that’s the extent of my knowledge. Cross thatching makes me think around the turn of the century, but looking for any helpful insights, thank you!

Hello everyone! I inherited this bracelet from my late grandmother. A jeweler confirmed it’s platinum on the front, 18k yellow gold on the back, with real diamonds and an emerald. Has no marks.
I was told it may be an Art Deco piece. Does anyone know:
Trying to decide if we should keep this family brooch or sell. Worth about $600. Jewelry buyer offered to pay the same. Should we keep for sentimental value? My mother in law is giving her engagement ring to my sister in law. Do you think it will appreciate in value? Is it an uncommon piece?
Found this pretty brooch at an antique store. It looks to be very well made but has no marks. Has a neat safety clasp I haven’t seen before.
Also it seems to acid test at 22k 😳 I don’t have anything known to be that purity to compare.
Looking for any info on age/country of origin/ materials. 22k sounds a bit too good to be true for the whole $22 I spent on it 😅
UPDATE: seems to acid test as platinum! 😍
Happy to share some more of the unusual cool pieces I have in my personal collection.
I have been obsessed with these styles for a long time & coming across them is not so easy!
Left : Rolled gold, garnet in the middle ca. 1900-1910 Pforzheim, Germany
Right, top : Rolled gold, synthetic ruby ca. 1900-1920, also from Pforzheim Germany
Right, bottom : Mixed gold contents 6k chain, 14k pendants, rhodolite garnet, ca. 1900-1930 from Austria. Would fit well with the Vienna secession style that was quite fond of geometric shapes, but earlier than art deco, but possibly art deco as well.
Pink really is my fav color!
For the first two markers marks help with the identification, while the latter one is quite unusual with its 6k gold chain which caught my eye! 6 carat gold purity standard was used in Austria from my research. In Germany that doesn’t count as gold as 8k is the lowest purity standard for gold here.
Latest addition to my antiques collection.
Would date early 20th century, what would you say?
Silver with gold plate and various colors of garnets light pink to fuchsia. This was a piece cared for, as it was updated in the later half of the 20th century with a more modern butterfly closure. Inspecting closely the base of the studs and closure are made from two different alloys and solder looks more modern. To me prongs & wear of the gold plate & different cuts of the garnets is what gives away its antique character.
I have never seen a set of small studs like this. Only ever singles so that makes this find especially precious to me.
I got this watch from my grandmother. Wondering what brand or the artist is because i am in love with this style. It did break😔 but good thing i fix and make jewelry.
