I notcied that in every playthrough of mine, Pasqal has Stage IV XCOM syndrome.

Argenta keeps critting on every shot with her bolter at 80% hit chances. Yrileth has missed 1 shot in the past 5 hours of gameplay.

My rogue trader Keeps critting for 200+ damage, and have done so ever since barely left Footfall.

But Pasqal? I dunk the enemy full of hit chance increasing debuffs, i dunk Pasqal in crit guaranteeing buffs, make him stand like 5 tiles away from the enemy, debuff the enemy's dodge chence, remove all cover between the Pasqal and said enemy, 95% hit chance...

#Miss.

Which of course, can happen, there is a 5% chance for it, but when it happens to 2 shots out of three with the same set up, something begins stinking.

Is there like a bug with pasqal, or plasma rifles, or do they have some mechanic of inaccuracy that my dumbass totally glossed over?

It's kind of weird for a rogue trader to go around in a pathetic little barge we have in the game. I remeber rushing to Dargonus in my first playthrough to get the proper, real flagship of the Dynasty. Turned out there isn't one.

WIf I recall correctly, 99.996%of Earth's population foken died out during the Fall, and it took roughly 1600 or so years just to reach the age of sail again.

Humanity as a species survived, but the civilization basically gone extinct.

And yet in the current day of the setting, 10 000 years later, we have stuff like Smith-Shimano corp, so in some form, english and japanese are still in use, and afaik, the god damn catholic church is still a thing somehow.

I know the vaults contained cultural information. But I doubt millenia old civilizations would readopt cultures and languages foreign to them, just because they shared a geological location. Hell, even IRL, people dont give a shit about history beyond idle fun.

Like, I am hungarian, but i would not suddenly fully transition to Avar culture if our backyard had a tomb in it from them.

So how did that work?
