What are everyone's favorite AUs at the moment? I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I love the exploration of the characters in different settings! And it's fun to read different genres too. I'm thinking AUs where at least one of them isn't a hockey player, and I'm always wanting a HEA. Some of my favorites:

47,370K. Hollanov as competing writers! OMG so good. Great great writing. I love that being in the closet isn't really part of this fic, but the tension is still exquisite. The author has some other amazing AUs too.

36,081K. Hollanov in space! I love space opera, so this is just a delight. Shane is again a super BAMF and hyper competent, my favorite! Much drama mucking about in space in the name of love, but not a big focus on spice.
