Am I tripping or do some of the UAF portraits look suspiciously similar to certain characters from other games?

These two are just the ones that I found really close matches but I'm sure there's more, there is a portrait that l am 90% sure is referencing Venom Snake from MGS but I couldn't find the exact image they referenced.
