Is it too late to get a job?
Hi! I recently found out about seasonal work and completely fell in love with the idea! However, most of the job postings I’ve been seeing look like they started recruiting back in April, so I’m wondering if it’s already too late to get a job for this season or if I should just wait until fall applications open up.
My boyfriend and I are hoping to find a place where we can work together! Ideally, we’d each have our own room, though we’d also be okay sharing a room if needed. Since we’re still a fairly new couple, we’d just prefer to have our own spaces if possible. I’m trying not to be too picky since I know we’re a bit late to the game.
I’ve been looking through a lot of postings on CoolWorks, but I’m not always sure how current they are or whether the positions have already been filled. Ideally, we’d like to start in July, though we’d also be open to late May or early June. A lot of the postings I’m seeing have start dates listed for this week or next week, which has me a little concerned.
We’re willing to wait until fall hiring opens up if necessary, but we’d definitely prefer to start sooner if possible! We’re planning on applying to a bunch of places tomorrow and just seeing what happens!
