Boundaries! Looking for fics where Ilya and (especially) Shane have better boundaries with others.
I‘ve read a lot of fics where they’re interrupted or discovered by friends or family walking into their homes. I feel like millionaires in their mid 20’s (especially ones who have a secret affair happening) would not be so cool about people using their emergency keys to just walk in for no reason. I read one where Shane and Ilya were in a secret years long committed marriage, and Svetlana just let herself in to Ilya’s and sat on the couch while they were upstairs having sex. Shane was jealous and hadn’t even met her, and it was like no big deal that she did that it was barely addressed
i get that Shane’s mom is his manager, and is not great with boundaries. what I don’t understand is why he would let it go as far as her walking in without knocking and catching him in compromising positions. even if she didn’t know he was gay, he could have a girl there?
I think seeing them both-but especially Shane shut people down and have clear boundaries would be good.
