XGIMI Titan Noir Max Screen Advice from XGIMI
Hi All,
I reached out to XGIMI and asked them the following below, would appreciate your opinions.
Hi XGIMI, do you have any information or advice regarding screens recommendations for Australian customers?
I’m looking for a screen between 130-150 inches. The room is a dedicated projector room, that lets in some natural daylight.
Dear customer
Thank you for reaching out. This is Sharon from XGIMI customer service team.
Thank you for your interest in enhancing your projection setup — we’re glad to help with general guidance.
For the best viewing experience, we recommend choosing a screen designed for your projector’s light source. ALR screens often deliver a brighter and more vivid image by reducing ambient light interference, making them suitable for daytime and indoor use. Since XGIMI projectors use a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 16:9 screen is also recommended to ensure proper fit and optimal auto-keystone performance.
At this time, we don’t sell projector screens directly, so we’re unable to endorse a specific brand. However, many users in our Facebook Community have shared their real-world setup photos and recommendations, which can be very helpful when choosing a screen that fits your room, budget, and viewing preferences. We encourage you to check those discussions for practical suggestions from other XGIMI owners.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding, and we truly value your support. Should you have any further questions or require assistance, please feel free to reach out.
Best regards,
Sharon

Dear customer
Thank you for reaching out. This is Sharon from XGIMI customer service team.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion in the previous message. Please kindly ignore the previous email regarding the projection screen recommendation.
We truly appreciate your thoughtful message and your enthusiasm for the Titan Noir Max project.
Regarding your interest in the Titan Noir series, we would like to provide you with the following recommendations:
The TITAN Noir series is a 4K (3840 × 2160) tri-color laser projector. To effectively reduce common laser speckle and achieve optimal image quality, the projector combines dedicated optical hardware design with advanced software algorithms.
For the best viewing experience, we recommend the following screen specifications:
Aspect ratio: 16:9
Screen color: White
Surface type: Matte or lightly textured surface (non-ALR / non-ambient light rejecting screen)
These specifications help minimize visible speckle and ensure a more natural and consistent image performance.

If you are planning a ceiling installation for the Titan Noir Max, please note that the bottom of the device is equipped with four mounting screw holes that support
overhead mounting.
For safety and stability, we strongly recommend using the official XGIMI ceiling mount. The central pole is adjustable from 250mm to 365mm for flexible installation (please refer to the attached image).
If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out at any time—we are always happy to assist you.
Regards
Sharon
UPDATE
XGIMI just sent me this msg regarding the ceiling mount:
Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
At the moment, there are indeed two versions of the ceiling mount: a long version and a short version.
The long version supports height adjustment. The central pole can be adjusted smoothly from 250 mm to 365 mm. Including the 60 mm top magnetic cover, the total distance from the ceiling can be adjusted continuously between 310 mm and 425 mm.
The short version does not support height adjustment, and its fixed distance from the ceiling is 348 mm.
Hope it helps. If you still have any further questions, please feel free to reply to us at any time.
