I'm a bit puzzled, I have both models, I have 2 lasers and 1 LED, why does the LED one have clearly more focus and higher luminosity ( the whites on the laser one are yellow-ish, and the text is fuzzy on the whole screen, not on a sigle point or plane)?

It should not be this way! Am I missing something ?

The story story is this: I bought 1 Laser and 1 LED to compare them, and the Laser was out of focus when comparing to LED, i thought it was faulty so I bought another one, but it was the same as the first one.

I'm currently testing them and going back and forward, re-arranging them maybe I missed something, but i always get the same result: Both lasers are fuzzy and out of focus....

Have any other users reported this? Let me know if you need me to add photos/videos, but most phones automatically correct images that are out of focus, so it will be hard to share what i'm seing with my own eyes.

I am so close to pulling the trigger on the Titan Noir Max for my first projector ever. The only thing I am curious about if it ends up not working for me or I don’t use it as much as I thought how long will I be able to resell it for the price I bought if not a little more?

Also while you’re here commenting give me your thoughts on what 120 inch manual pull down screen I should get. Or just your thoughts in general.

The space I’ll be using it in is a fully light controlled basement. 3.3 meters of throw. I want to eventually use the projector for a golf simulator and projection mapping.

I am new to all this Beamer stuff and found the xgimi 20 pro - it seems that i would fit i my living room Setup, ive some Windows need a bright Beamer so i can use it at daytimes. I allready read that a new series (30) will enter the Stage. I found the xgimi 20 refurbished for 1600€ what seems Like a good deal. Is it worth to buy it or waiting for the new series?

XGIMI Horizon turns on perfectly normally and displays the XGIMI logo fine, but right when it’s about to switch to Android TV it shuts off.

The image looks completely normal before shutting down. I’ve only had it for 3 days. Could this be a power brick/adapter issue rather than the projector itself? Seen some shouts on here that it could also be firmware?

So I don’t have any previous experiences with beamers, but I’ve been reading up a lot.

I became interested in the Xgimi Horizon 20 series, as it’s suitable for movies and gaming, has good speakers and has enough power for daytime viewing. (I want a good image, but I’m not a purist about it.)

However, this is my situation in the living room:
- Distance from projector is about 3.10m
- My (white) wall is 1,65m in width, translating to 75 inch screen size. (It’s a protruding piece of wall, so on both sides there’s more wall basicly, but it can’t be used for a bigger image.)
- Projector is a bit off-center on a shelf, so lens-shift is preferred to keystone correction. Ceiling mount isn’t possible. (We have old decorative plaster ceilings.)
- I’ll be watching mostly during the evening (dark but not pitchblack) but I want it to be suited for daytime viewing as well (lots of ambient light, but no direct sunlight)

So the throw ratio of the Horizon 20 series isn’t enough, I need about 1,94x optical zoom. And before anyone says so: no I don’t want a TV on the wall. And it’s ok for me to spend around 2500.

Now I’m looking at the Xgimi Titan Noir Kickstarter series, considering the base model or the Pro model.

Any thoughts on what model is suited for me, considering the relatively small size of the image? (I don’t need the brightness to be overkill.) Or any recommendations for other beamers that better match my need?

I can’t find any info on this and I am trying to figure out if the Titan Noir will work for my room.

I am planning a ceiling mount, but the projector would not be easy to reach for shorter folks. Ia there a lens cover for this unit? Is it one that needs to be removed each time it’s used?

I bought Xgimi 4 Led and Laser versions, mind you the laser version was more than 50% more expensive than the led, and there is a major issue: the Laser version is very blurry, it's like so blurry I can barely read from it while the LED one is clear as day. The problem is I've seen others complaining about the same thing. I've tried turning it off and on, and I've just software reset it, but it's still very blurry, not pixelated.

I will post a photo once I'm done with the setup but this is not acceptable. Please tell me if I'm missing something.

Hi everyone, I’m writing to seek help with a technical issue I’m experiencing with my Z9X 4K. For some reason, the customer support team redirected me to this Reddit group, and I hope there are XGIMI moderators who can assist me.

To summarize, I purchased a XGIMI Z9X 4K from China about a month ago and brought it back to Italy. It has been functioning well until last night when I accidentally bumped it while it was on. The TV didn’t fall from the desk it was on, and there was no visible damage. However, the air coming out of the fan smells burnt, and the projected image has a reddish tint.

I’m wondering if I can send the TV to a repair shop or if I can replace the faulty part myself using a spare part from XGIMI. Not to sound desperate but I'm pretty much in tears.

Im looking for a screen for the cgimi horizon pro projector as a gift for my boyfriend, but have little idea what to look for. I want us to be avle to watch during the day as well, so I was researching ALR screens, but I wonder if anyone has any suggestions? Thanks

I have just bought the XGIMI Horizon S Pro after the bulb on my old VIewsonic PJD5255L died. I was expecting it to be an upgrade and in many ways its is. The picture is crisp, the autofocus is great and the UI is fine. However, when watching films the XGIMI picture just feels wrong. It feels like you are on set with the actors. There's nothing cinematic about the experience at all. After some research I figured that what I'm experiencing is called the "soap opera effect". I have turned off the motion smoothing and set the Apple TV input to frame match the source. This made a bit of a difference but the picture still feels off - still not cinematic. I am thinking of returning the XGIMI. Does anyone have any advice either on how to solve the problem with the XGIMI or what kind of projector to replace it with? My budget is around £1000 ±200.

Im planning on getting an xgimi horizon 20 projector and every place I look at screens, it's either too sketchy or cost more than then the projector. For a 120in or 100in projector screen, do you guys have any good budget options for a basement with a few small windows. I prefer 120in. Thank you

What do you guys think? I’ll be watching on a 110 inch ez cinema Matt white screen (the foldable one from elite screens) in a VERY dark room. Do you think I need to buy those extra lumens? I’m not sure.

Hi all, it's a long shot but wanted to see if anyone has an official Xgimi Ceiling Mount for the Horizon Ultra? It's sold out on their site and I can't seem to find it second hand anywhere. If not, anyone have any recommendations that offer a power brick hideaway like the offial one does?

Recently purchased XGIMI Horizon 20. Planning to purchase a 135" or 150" screen. How much of a difference does STR screen from Silver ticket can make for picture quality. I don't think it has ALR. so, is it really worth it to spend 300$ or more on a screen?

I am a backer for the Xgimi Titan Noir Max and recently invested in a higher end Screen Innovations ALR screen in Slate 1.2. I am now questioning if this pairing will work well or if shimmer/speckle are going to be really severe with this pairing. Looking for any feedback from the team or any reviewers who have been able to test with ALR.
