Hi everyone,
I’m looking forward to buy a home projector from Xgimi and I’ve been following this sub for quite some times now and I’ve seen many posts about deficiencies in projectors, sometimes the lenses, somes dark or light spot on the projection, somes issue with the cooling or even to turn it on. So I was wondering, are thoses cases just concerning a negligible amount of projectors or does Xgimi has some issues with the quality of theirs projectors?

I am planning on getting the Aura 3 Max once the Kickstart goes live. What screen are you planning on getting for it if you are also buying? Is your room dark or do you have some ambient light?

Just received my X50 Ultra. Must say it's a big upgrade on my previous Horizon Pro 4k.

Just throwing onto a white painted wall in an environment that is not fully light controlled, but the image is still extremely bright.

Google translate comes in handy with navigating the menus as it's the Chinese release of the Titan Noir Max, just a lot cheaper landed in Australia.

I purchased my projector through the Kickstarter and it worked flawlessly for a couple weeks. Then it would not turn on…. I have to unplug the unit between each use to get it to power on, and occasionally it shuts off during use. When it shuts off it is under 45 minutes of being on. Anyone else have this issue or know any work arounds. My projector is in a ventilated soffit, I had to install a smart outlet up there in order to cycle power and it is extremely frustrating.

Working with xgimi but they haven’t come through with a solution yet or warranty exchange.

Just got notification saying kickstarter is active now. But I don’t see the super early bird vip pricing even though I had done 50$ deposit last month. Is it working for anyone else?

We wanted to give everyone a quick update on what happened this morning.

Unfortunately, our Kickstarter account was hacked, and someone launched the AURA 3 campaign without our authorization or any notice to our team.

As soon as we found out, we immediately tried to reverse it. Unfortunately, because of limitations on Kickstarter, there was no way for us to undo the launch. The only option we had for now was to cancel the campaign.

To be clear, AURA 3 itself is NOT cancelled. We’re already working with Kickstarter to get everything sorted out and resume the campaign as soon as possible.

Your deposit and participation in the campaign will not be affected by this.

We’re really sorry for all the confusion this caused, especially for everyone who suddenly received notifications about the campaign launching and then being cancelled. We’ll share another update as soon as we have more information.

l’ho acquistato di recente su Amazon, non posso lamentarmi di come funziona nel complesso, ma la messa a fuoco del proiettore non mi sembra davvero un granché nemmeno lo si regola manualmente

è come se ci fosse l’immagine sempre un po’ sfocata

puo essere un problema del mio proiettore in particolare?

I'm planning on getting the Aura 3 Max but confused about the engineering of ALR screens for UST projectors and how much speckle they produce from typical 3-laser RGB DLP projectors like the aura 3 max.

My experience with any ALR screens paired with RGB DLPs is that speckle is a BIG problem. And I've been through a lot of projectors AND screens (Horizon 20 max, Dangbei S7 ulta max, Xgimi Titan AND the Xgimi Titan Noir Max). Screens with any amount of ALR always produce a ton of speckle (OG Titan excluded), so I'm very curious about how/why a UST ALR screen wouldn't be really speckle-y.

Does anyone have direct experiences on this?

I went for the bundle with the Ascend Screen. Anyone recieved their Ascend yet and what's yours thoughts?
