My salary account is currently with YES Bank. I’m considering switching it to HDFC, ICICI, or Axis Bank because they offer better credit cards. I also have an FD-based SBM Card credit card, which I don’t find useful, and I’m thinking of closing it—before doing that, I want to set up a salary account with one of these banks.

My CIBIL score is 789. Also, from my employer’s side there’s nothing mandatory like salary must go to a specific bank I choose the account myself and provide the details to them.

Which bank would be best for opening a salary account in my case? Also, what’s the process do I need my employer’s tie-up with the bank, or can I open the salary account by visiting the nearest branch directly?

I bought a second-hand Pixel 7a from a local store, and I noticed the battery drains very quickly. I contacted Google Support, and they informed me that a battery replacement for this device was completed in December 2025. However, I’m still getting only about 1 to 1.5 hours of screen-on time.

I’ve already tried the usual troubleshooting steps, including resetting the device and disabling background apps. Most of the time I was using Wi‑Fi, but the battery still drains rapidly. The phone shows a total of 54 charge cycles.

What should I do in this case? Also, I don’t have the original invoice with me—will that affect my options?
