2020 Obsolete Parts
Purchased a used 2020 Ford Fusion ecoboost Six months ago. After the first month the car engine started to make a loud noise. Found it to be the flex plate and torque converter. 4 months after searching multiple states and dealerships it was found the torque converter IS NO LONGER MADE AND CONSIDERED OBSOLETE. Contacted ford customer care 22N with no resolution. I was sent a # to ford parts and vintage parts. Then I found out it is obsolete.
Ford has not made this public and has many of the Fusion models as well as Expeditions with this issue still at every location. This part has a history and previous lawsuit for faulting at 30k to 50k miles. Do not buy these vehicles.
