What's the point of Cineplex theatres anymore?

The cost of tickets has been way too high for a while now, and the "convenience fee" is just a slap in the face when you know ordering on the app saves them money to begin with.

And let's not even talk about concessions.

Now, I was going to put all that aside, since I really like The Boys and wanted to see the finale in theatres. The ticket is $20, but I would have paid $30 easily. This would have been worth the cost.

Well, it's not happening. I live in New Brunswick, and the closest theatre that shows it is probably Montreal. Not even Halifax.

So I asked myself... The one time The first time in a while I actually wanted to give Cineplex money for a service and it's impossible for me to do so (I'm not getting a $500 plane ride to go see a movie, forget that.)... What's the point of Cineplex? Wasting 2 hours of work to get popcorn and a movie?
