I'm on MagicOS 10.0.0.143(C636). Is there any latest updates for the global Honor 200 variant?

And Honor is really behind with the monthly updates for their global variant devices.

I'm on MagicOS 10-10.0.0.143 Honor 200 global variant.

It's been 1 month and fews days going my Honor 200 (10.0.0.143) C636 has been running extra warm, sometimes it gets hot on the display front. Even on normal basic usage.

Mostly during Social Media app calls, normal light usage, no heavy tasks or apps. Just normal regular apps. Even after that it keeps getting warmer and warmer and hot too on the screen.

But while gaming it's very normal to get device hot as usual.

I use auto brightness and also use on 20-40 percent of brightness at all times.

I use only necessary apps that I need to keep running in the background.

If anyone who can report to Honor please this issue needs to fixed.

Subject: Implementation of Volume Button Mute/Unmute Shortcut

Proposed Feature:

Add a feature to MagicOS 11 allowing users to mute or unmute their device by pressing Volume Up + Volume Down simultaneously.

Rationale:

Many HONOR devices lack a physical mute switch. This shortcut would allow users to silence their phone instantly while it remains in their pocket, offering a faster, more accessible way to toggle sound during meetings or quiet environments.

Implementation Details:

Settings: Add a toggle in Settings > Sounds & Vibration to enable/disable this feature.

Haptic Confirmation: Include a distinct vibration pattern when muted to confirm the state change without needing to view the screen.

As I am in mid-range user for Honor 200 series, for the past few weeks I have been posting a lot of feature request bug fixes and known issues. Some of them which not all the people can't report or post about it here.

I see that lots of lots of people watch what I post here. And I feel really appreciated that so many people notices and watches and reads my post.

If my post helps you in your user experience for the future in any way please I'm not begging I'm not even asking but I'm saying if you like my effort please reward me or help me with something small, because each time you give something the nature gives you back.

Till MagicOS 11 releases I will suggest and feature request many many unique features aesthetically or usability wise. Because I believe people deserve to get the best out of their device and from their software.

Since I have a pretty low mid-range device such as Honor 200, most people have the flagship or the upper flagship like Honor 400 600 etc and magic series since they will get the most software update in future they will get to enjoy the best from magic OS.

So keeping them in mind I always try to bring creative ideas from myself and inspired from other sources like iOS and other Android skins.

If you think I am being greedy or just asking for money please tell me that I am wrong here 😊💗.

With the small rewards or helps I will get from here, with that I will be able to buy a new phone like Honor 600 Pro or Magic 8 Pro. Even if you don't help me with small rewards I really do not mind since you guys reads and watch my post, that's also appreciate it.

Hello everyone my name is Raj and I'm from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 I am an user of Honor 200 (Hong Kong Global variant) purchased in Bangladesh.

As you guys know I have been posting many feature requests and bug fixes known issues for everybody to get the best experience out of MagicOS.

I've been using this device for over a year I purchased this device on 2025 July and it's today 2026 July. So it's almost a year and I have been facing a lot of bugs issues and also great user experience from my device starting from the display the processor the software and usability.

Nonetheless my device is giving me the best user experience till today and I hope that it will keep providing me with good experience and user affordability.

The reason I upload so many feature requests, bug fixes, known issues just to make the software experience more delightful. Some of the future request I post here are inspired from iOS and other Android skins I see some people don't like when I talk about inspired iOS aesthetics.

For them I would say personally I cannot afford an iPhone and secondly, the second closest UI to match with iOS is MagicOS in my opinion. So I want to experience the aesthetics of an iOS and the full capability of magic OS.

Dear Honor Support / Software Development Team,

I am writing to report a significant regression in camera performance on my Honor 200 (Global Variant, Bangladesh) following the recent update to Magic OS 10.0.0.143.

Prior to this specific build—both on Magic OS 9 and the earlier iterations of Magic OS 10—the camera performance was excellent. However, since updating to version 10.0.0.143, I have noticed a drastic downgrade across the entire camera system.

Key Issues Observed:

Photo Quality Degradation: Regular images lack the sharpness, detail, and dynamic range that the sensor previously delivered.

Portrait Mode Issues: The quality of portrait shots has significantly dropped. The edge detection, background blur (bokeh) separation, motions blurry facial/subjects, mushy quality and overall facial processing are no longer as clean or accurate as they used to be.

Video Quality Drop: Video output feels poorly optimized, with noticeable artifacts, lower clarity, and sub-par processing compared to previous versions.

Sensor Underutilization: The physical hardware and sensors on the Honor 200 are highly capable, but the current software pipeline feels unoptimized, failing to extract the true potential of the hardware.

My Request:

I kindly request the development team to thoroughly review the camera software pipeline for this specific build. Please optimize the image and portrait processing algorithms in the next OTA update to restore and improve overall quality. We need a smoother camera experience and a tuning pipeline that fully leverages the device's camera sensors to deliver the premium quality we expect from Honor.

Granular "Per-App" Power Control: Give users a highly refined "Don't Optimize / Smart Optimize / Deep Sleep" toggle. If a user sets an app to "Don't Optimize," MagicOS must guarantee 100% instant notification delivery. For non-essential apps (games, shopping, streaming), allow the system to apply the aggressive Chinese ROM-style freezing to maximize battery life.

System-Level Idle Optimizations: Port over the advanced AI-driven power-saving behaviors during daily idle hours, optimizing network standby and display driver power consumption without putting critical sync services to sleep.

Advanced Battery Health & Bypass Utilities:

Ensure hardware-level health features—such as smart charging limits (e.g., stopping at 80% to preserve long-term battery health) and advanced bypass charging when gaming or executing heavy tasks—are standard and unified across global models.
