Book of Joined Hands – Yuji Itadori's magnum opus
General Information:
The Book of Joined Hands is a special grade cursed artifact mainly produced by the efforts of Yuji Itadori, Marulu Val Vol Yelvori, Aoi Todo and Nobara Kugisaki, alongside numerous other contributors. It's creation process was started roughly 46 months after the conclusion of the ritual of harmony, though the cursed tool was only seen as truly completed in the year 2353, the year of Yuji Itadori's supposed passing.
The book was made with the specific purpose of helping future generations to combat the remaining few cursed spirits that would appear occasionally. It is designed to be wielded by people that do not possess cursed energy themselves, and thus, can be fueled fully by it's own reserve.
The cursed artifact was created by imbuing individual pages of the book with the cursed techniques of willing participants, a process that took many years due to the nature of how cursed tools are made. The nature of it's creation makes the book an anomaly of a cursed tool, as it is one of very few known cursed artifacts with access to multiple cursed techniques.
Abilities:
The Book of Joined Hands is infused with a number of different cursed techniques which the wielder can access. The most notable cursed techniques infused into the book are Yuji Itadori's Shrine and Blood Manipulation, Marulu and Cross' Chaos and Harmony, Yuka Okkotsu's Ten Shadows Technique, Ui Ui's Spatial Transference and Aoi Todo's Boogie Woogie. In total, the artifact holds 68 cursed techniques.
To activate these cursed techniques, the wielder of the Tome must flip to the page of the ability and then place their full palm onto said page. Upon doing so, they will gain unrestricted access to the technique for 3 minutes. After a technique was used, that specific technique can not be used again for 24 hours. If the wielder lets go of the book before the timer ends, the cooldown is triggered preemtively. There can only be two active techniques at a time at maximum.
The book has more to offer beyond it's raw abilities. It also holds detailed records and information on all the cursed techniques found within, and has a section detailing all kinds of non-innate techniques as well, though these pages have no special powers.
Notes:
- It would technically be possible to rip out a page from the book and use the cursed technique detailed on the page individually, since all of the pages qualify as individual cursed tools. The same rules would apply in this case, though a singular page possesses significantly less cursed energy and would thus impose a much greater cooldown.
- Even though the book holds enough cursed energy to power it's techniques without outside help, it could theoretically be drastically enhanced by being used by a Jujutsu Sorcerer with independent reserves. This is not a viable option anymore following Yuji Itadori's transformation into a cursed object, due to the lack of sorcerers, which left this detail to be forgotten about entirely.
