Please help with identification of two different things here.
I have a mystery here. A cast iron lid has shown up in my oven that I don't have whatever it fits. Best I can remember , within the last year, maybe less. I have no idea of the make of the lid other than it's probably pretty old and has the self basting thing. It doesn't fit anything I own! The only thing it comes *close* to fitting is something given to me that I know for sure didn't come with any lid. I haven't gotten rid of anything and I just don't know where it came from! I have searched all my cabinets, storage building, etc. Looking for what it fits. I thought I had a possibility when my sister said she had one of my grandma's old pans so I asked her to bring it over so I could check it out *insert evil laughter here while wringing hands together* and it doesn't fit it either. I have asked the family if they brought something over like a covered dish and maybe left it behind but, again no. Can anyone identify the make of either the lid or the pan? I suspect the pan may be an unmarked Wagner but, just a guess. My sister thinks my grandma is pranking me from the beyond. I wouldn't put it past Granny to do that.
