Seeking advice on an endgame dual boiler [$4500]
Seeking advice on endgame machine
I have had BDB for the better part of 4 years and I am looking to move on the shower head kept on flaking off and I couldn’t be bothered anymore.
Requirements:
- fast heat up. (My wife likes the heat up time of a BDB). So you can be spontaneous.
- Ease of use.
We drink 2-4 cappuccinos or cortados a day and occasionally we’ve got friends over for drinks.
Been looking at
- Linea micra. Has a good steam, fast heat up. No fuss but very little play. No a fan of everything being app controlled.
- Synchronika ii. Decent heat up. Not as fast as BDB. Ease of use. Consistent with E61 limitations in mind. I like pre infusion capabilities.
- Profitec move: BDB ish with less capabilities but better quality and lower warm up.
- Profitec drive: same as synchronika II with a bit slower warm up.
- Decent de1pro: don’t like the vib noise, might be too much for my wife, but man the possibilities.
- Nurri r type
- Rocket r58 tunelc.
Any recommendation or real life experiences in terms of warm up time for both boilers?
Need help deciding.
Much appreciated
