Female gynae/endocrinologist recommendations in Karachi?
Hi everyone.
I really need help/advice because my symptoms have been progressively getting worse over the past few months and I honestly don’t know whether this sounds more gynae-related, hormonal/endocrine-related, or both.
Some of the symptoms I’ve been dealing with:
- Heavy periods with clotting
- Spotting after periods till day 8–10
- Severe lower abdominal/pelvic pain that travels downward into legs/back
- Pressure while peeing before periods
- Extreme bloating and weight gain
- Fatigue, bad sleep, mood swings
- Hair fall + sudden weird change in hair texture
- Intense salt/sugar cravings before periods
- Knee/back/leg pain around periods
- Palpitations sometimes
- Long history of UTIs
- My period was also 4 days late this month and the symptoms are becoming more intense cycle by cycle.
- On and off blood clots post period cycle.
Important context:
• I have used ECPs on and off over the past months (sometimes twice a month)
• Thyroid tests came back normal
• My insulin levels were fairly high and doctor said it points toward insulin resistance/potential type 2 diabetes risk
• I’ve taken magnesium, B12, and Nedopair
At this point I’m worried about things like PCOS/endometriosis/hormonal imbalance/insulin resistance etc and I really want doctors who actually LISTEN instead of dismissing everything as “normal PMS”.
Can anyone please recommend:
A GOOD female gynecologist in Karachi
A GOOD female endocrinologist in Karachi
Preferably someone patient, non-judgmental, and good with hormonal/PCOS-related issues. Would really appreciate personal experiences/recommendations.
Thank you.
