Series 8 Washing Machine - Really??
Recently purchased a Bosch Series 8 Washing Machine (Made in Germany) and after a first wash I noticed that water remains in the softener compartment. After removing the tray, I discovered that there is even more water retention.
I contacted the representative to come have a look and he informs me that water retention inside the washing machine IS BY DESIGN!!! When I present my argument so if I am away for a week and do not do any laundry, and mold forms there - then what?
He agrees with me and promised to contact the company to confirm. It is indeed by design.
Does anyone else have this washing machine and is this really by design? Do you have long term mold problems?
I am so disappointed because it was a significant splurge and the whole point of buying it was it would be clean and mold free because I have a newborn.
