Looking for Co-Founders (Clinical, Tech, Grants) to scale a Mental Health Initiative in Rwanda (Working Prototype Built)
I know this is probably not the right place to ask but who knows, the right partners might be scrolling right now.
I am the founder of a tech-driven mental health and community wellness initiative based in Kigali. Currently, the project is being incubated and backed under my existing company, but our strategic roadmap for this year is to cleanly spin it off into a fully independent, registered NGO.
Where we are at right now:
We aren’t just pitching an abstract concept. We have already built and deployed a functional, working prototype designed to provide scalable, localized mental wellness support and data-driven tracking. We are preparing for a targeted pilot phase to gather hard impact metrics so we can hit our first major institutional seed grant cycle over the next 12 months.
To transition from a prototype into a highly credible, scalable institution, I need a world-class founding executive team. I am looking for co-founders who want a true seat at the table to build this from the ground up.
Specifically, I am looking for:
- The Clinical/Mental Health Expert (Co-Founder): A licensed psychologist, clinical social worker, or public health professional in East Africa. You will be our domain authority, auditing our frameworks for clinical safety and evidence-based impact.
2.The Grant Writer & Compliance Specialist (Co-Founder): Someone who speaks "funder language" fluently. You will take ownership of navigating the NGO registration process, building M&E frameworks, and targeting foundations like Segal Family Foundation, GCC, etc.
3.The Technical / Operations Lead (Co-Founder): A product or tech wizard who can take ownership of our prototype architecture, manage data security, and ensure the system scales smoothly as user volume grows.
The Reality on Compensation:
Since we are in the pre-seed prototype phase, there are no upfront corporate salaries today. We are building this via a founding equity/sweat equity and deferred compensation structure. This means we pull together, launch this pilot, and your compensation/salary is guaranteed and legally earmarked out of the very first funding injection or grant we win.
If you are tired of corporate stagnation or massive, slow-moving NGOs and want to use your skills to build a highly agile, tech-forward mental health solution that will transform communities in Rwanda, let’s talk.
