Business opportunity

An opportunity for someone who wants to own a registered business in Rwanda and build something meaningful from the ground up.

I am selling a legally registered Rwandan company with:
✔️ RDB registration
✔️ Domain name and professional email setup
✔️ Natural products business concept already positioned for growth
✔️ Branding and social media direction already started

The vision is strong and I genuinely believe this business can become highly profitable with the right owner and energy behind it.

Why am I selling?
Due to personal circumstances, I am no longer able to pursue the business fully. Rather than let the opportunity sit unused, I would like to transfer it to someone who can continue building it.

This is especially ideal for:
✅ Someone planning to relocate to Rwanda
✅ Entrepreneurs looking for an existing registered company
✅ Investors interested in natural African products
✅ Diaspora Africans returning to East Africa
✅ Anyone wanting a practical pathway toward living and doing business in Rwanda

How's life in kigali as an adult with no car?

I am coming to kgl this summer, I am still working on my permit so I don't have a car yet. I'll be there for 2 weeks. Since I know there's no Uber, how can I move around independently without having to get a moto or a taxi at the market or a bus. I am used to move around on Uber , since I work from home I don't really need a car so that's why I delayed. Anyway, let me know your thoughts. Don't even know if the girls will take me seriously if I pull up with no car lol, deep down I'm ashamed. Cause I can afford this shit

How to obtain recommendation letters from village and cell leaders

I used to live in Kigali nine years ago, and I am now applying for a visa that requires a police clearance certificate from Rwanda. Among the required documents on irembo.gov, there are recommendation letters from village and cell leaders. As a former resident, how can I obtain these recommendation letters? I do not know the former or current village and cell leaders. I would appreciate any advice.

Trip to Rwanda: Looking for Info on Transport, Currency & Practical Basics

Hello everyone,

I’ll be visiting Rwanda in a few weeks and am trying to "read up" on the country—that is, to understand how things work there. I’m looking for information on things like transportation for tourists (both within Kigali and overland—for instance, to Volcanoes National Park), how payments are handled, and other everyday practicalities. On my previous trips—whether in Europe or elsewhere around the world—I’ve always quickly managed to get a sense of the place and how it functions. Unfortunately, I still feel quite in the dark regarding Rwanda; I’ve been trying to find information everywhere, but so far, I’ve failed miserably. Would any of you be kind enough to help me out, or perhaps point me toward a resource where I can find this information? In short: what are the absolute basics I need to know when visiting Rwanda?

Thanks a million!

Matthias

Banning plastic bags in Rwanda is only enforced at the airport and the borders

Foreigners are always surprised when they reach Rwandan airports or borders and their plastic bags are confiscated yet us locals often use plastic bags(Woven PP) in our daily shopping. We even have a factory that produces them. I don't know if the government only banned the black LDPE bags or they just won't enforce the rules inside the country because both PP and LDPE bags take decades to decompose.

Some questions

  1. Do you know about Rwanda's partnership with China
  2. Has your daily life benefited from China-Rwanda cooperation projects
  3. Have you ever met Chinese people?
    What's your impression of them
  4. What behaviors or ideas of Chinese people have you encountered that made you uncomfortable
