Small mods ? Any recommendations/ideas?

Hey guys I love adding cosmetic mods but also like to keep my car modest/closer to an oem+ style and not tacky.

Already I have:
Upgraded alloys
Retrofitted headlights
Added a CarPlay system
Wrapped interior trim

I understand I don’t have much other cosmetic mods left I could do without border lining tackiness.

Looking for any suggestions at all regardless though, to see if I’ve any options that’d tic my boxes.

Even any unique ideas you might’ve seen ? Like maybe a unique style for the interior trim panels that might but nicer than my current wrap, even really small things that people mightnt even notice but are a nice touch. Anything that you might’ve thought would be a nice touch at all etc.

Suggestions much appreciated!

Need rocker cover suggestions plz

Hey guys, my 316i (N45B16) needs a rocker cover (advised by mechanic).

I am burning a lot of oil (mainly) when driving hard, mechanic done a test where he removed the oil cap while the engine was running and it made the engine start bouncing with the oil cap removed, said this was a failed PCV and needs full rocker cover replaced as the PCV is attached to the rocker cover? And is easier than replacing PCV alone?

This was 2 weeks ago and he said he will try source a rocker cover for me but 2 weeks have passed and one has not been found yet. He mentioned the rocker covers easily available online are unnecessarily expensive ?

Just looking for advice/opinions on what would you do going about getting rocker cover etc? Should I just bite the bullet and buy an expensive one that I can just find for asap or what would be suggested ?

Any replies much appreciated!

Hey guys,

My steering wheel (sports wheel with no buttons) needed replacing and the only local e90 sports wheel available had buttons.

I don’t care for the buttons to work, I just needed to replace the wheel, but I’m curious will the radio buttons work on the “new” steering wheel from just a straight swap/plug and play, with no extra work done?

Would be ideal but I imagine this isn’t possible so I don’t have my hopes up 😂

Any answers much appreciated!

Hey guys,

Any suggestions on how I could tidy up this steering wheel?

Would love to try disguise/hide the chips in the wheel, in picture 2 and 3.

Something simple, doesn’t have to be perfect, just trying to improve it some-bit. Even if something like sharpie is recommended, just trying to figure out what’s best.

Also in picture 3 and 4, the trim piece is peeling.

Would it be best to just try remove the rest of the peeling substance and expose the full plastic of the trim underneath or any advice?

Also overall with the steering wheel, what’s the best way to give it a proper clean and also protect it without damaging it?

Any advice would be much appreciated! 👌
